Seat sensors mounted on passenger seats and micro switches in seat belt lock mechanism transfer seat’s empty/full information and seat belt’s status to the the main module. The system, which allows detection of passengers sitting in each seat, receives its energy from the vehicle's own energy source.
Veldo cares about your safety. The "Kontrol Burda" (stands for "Control Here") seat tracking system, which's software made by our own engineers, basically acts as a seat occupancy system thanks to sensors and smart modules mounted on passenger seats in public transport such as school buses and coach buses, and is a safe navigation control and warning system for drivers and passengers.
How does the system work?
The seat sensors mounted on passenger seats and micro switches in the seat belt lock mechanism; the system shows if the seat is full or the seatbelt is not fastened, it communicates its information to the main module and the seat occupancy system performs its task. The seat occupancy system, which records each passenger in every seat, gets its energy from the vehicle's own energy source. In this way, each empty seat is displayed on the screen as gray, the sitting passengers displayed as red and the passengers with fastened belts displayed as green. The passengers with the unfastened belts are displayed in yellow colors. In addition to these, the number of passengers travelling in the vehicle and the number of passengers with fastened seatbelts can be seen on the screen. Before the driver leaves the vehicle, the system audibly and visually alerts the driver in case of any passenger being left in the vehicle. Then the vehicle's hazard lights and horn are activated, respectively. In addition, the information about passengers are remaining in the vehicle is directed to the main center or to a desired mobile phone via the integrated tracking system on the seat occupancy system, while the alarm gets activated.Our VKB 01 product, which stands out as a seat sensor, can be applied as a commercial vehicle seat sensor for all light commercial vehicles, as well as ensuring passenger safety by actively monitoring every passenger in the vehicle. Thanks to the instant and precise seat occupancy system, our product differs from other commercial vehicle seat sensor models. The VKB 01 school bus seat sensor, bus and minibus seat sensor can be used as a public transport seat sensor.
